What is a Senior Dental Specialist?

A team of specialized dentists, hygienists, and care givers who offer a comprehensive dental service to the Senior Citizen community. Geriatric Dentistry is the service to today's baby boomers, Ambulatory Adults and Medically and Mentally Compromised adults over fifty years of age.

Cosmetic, General and Geriatric Dentistry... We offer all dental procedures (porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns and bridges). We can straighten crooked teeth with our invisible teeth aligners and replace silver fillings with tooth colored restorations. Healthy gum treatments, root canals, and surgical removal of non restorable teeth for a beautiful smile are also available.

• BABY BOOMERS

  Senior Dental Specialist's goal is to provide, "Baby Boomers" and Senior Citizens with the specialized, quality dental Service that is desired and needed to maintain proper oral health and a beautiful smile. This is especially significant to complete all their dental need before one retires from their employment. SDS conducts a complete, confidential dental/medical history evaluation. When needed we correspond with one's physician to maintain healthy oral environment.

• WE CARE FOR...

  We conduct a complete and confidential dental/medical history evaluation and work with your physician to maintain a healthy oral environment. Special Care is providing to people undergoing various health related conditions.

  Individual undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment receives dental treatment along with additional dental education and care. Individuals with serve diabetes, Alzheimer, Cardiovascular disease, Tar dive dyskinesia, senile dementia, stroke and other system disease, are given specific oral health regimen to handle their oral needs.

  SDS provides cosmetic and comprehensive dental care. Many options are provided to replace non – restorable and missing teeth These Option's include Valplast partial dentures, Full denture, Fixed Porcelain Bridges and Porcelain Crowns. Periodontal scaling and root planning are performed with a gentle touch to maintain healthy gums (gingival)

• ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES

  Senior Dental specialist offer deliver service which presents a qualitative Benefit to eh Resident / and Facility management.

  Benefit #1: No cost to the facilities and its administration. Fees are paid by resident/who desire service.

  Benefit #2: SDS staff has provided Dental service for over 20 years to the geriatric communities

  Benefit #3: In house (bedside) services provide dental care at the Facility

  Benefit #4: SDS holds consistent policy and Procedures in place for dental service

  (SDS WORKS CLOSELY WITH NURSES, MEDICAL STAFF: SOCIAL WORKS AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF TO PROVODE CONTINUITY OF CARE).

• NURSING HOMES, LONG TERM CARE, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND REHABILITATION CENTERS

  Senior dental specialist (SDS) offer a delivery service which presents a Qualitative benefit to the Residents/Responsible parties and the Facilities management.

  Benefit #1: SDS staff had provided dental service for over 20 years to Nursing homes, Rehabilitation Centers and Long Term Care Facilities.

  Benefit #2: SES Policies and procedures are in place for dental service to work closely with medical Doctors, nurses, social workers and administrative staff to provide continuity of care.

  Benefit #3: In house (bedside) services S.D.S provide dental care at the bedside or a convent location at the Property site.

  Benefit #4: Administrators work with S.D.S to establish the Fee/contract of services.

• SENIOR DAY-CARE PARTICIPANTS

  SDS Enjoy providing oral health care in-service to patients, residence, and Facility Staff.

  Benefit: SDS staff had provided dental service and in-services for over 20 years.
